Default Trinty v/s Yoshimura Z400

Hey all, I just ordered a Trinty pipe and they told me that it was going to be on back order for several weeks(story of my life). We are planning a trip for Thanksgiving, and I cannot wait that long. I cannot ride that bike with stock exhaust any longer, like pissing through a straw. I was considering the Yoshimura pipe. Anyone care to compare the two? Before I cancel my trinty order, I don't want to shoot my self in the foot. Please help!!! Thanks

If your planning on doing any future motor mods, hold out for the Trinity. If you want the nicest looking pipe, hold out for the Trinity. I think the Yosh is supposed to be an great pipe, but I think you are mainly paying for the name. I would also consider CT, ProCircut T-4 and HMF. They are all supposed to have good power.

I just ordered my Trinity. I caint wait until it comes. I would just hold out for the trinity because this guy I talked to on the phone said that with the K&N and the max flow adapter + the Trinity pipe you would be getting around 8 hp. Thats around 40 hp total!

I went with the full Yoshi and am completely satisfied. My 400 is heavily modded: Yoshi, FCR40mm carb, cams, piston, and a little port & polish. This thing really rips and is very close to my CRF450 quad in a straight line.

RodsQuads, what piston are you using? Is it the stock bore or big bore? Thanks

They dyno results tell it all. Even the magazines only claim a one hp gain with the Yosh. Get the Trinity.

If you punch out the stock end cap a little you'll get a slight improvement in power and sound, then install the Trinity when you get it.
