Mine has the same crack in the front shock mount. My question is what are they replacing it with? If it is a new frame with the same design what good is it? That one will crack to. I have mine torn down to the bare frame for powder coating now, I plan on gusseting it now to.

I am thinking that Suzuki knows that there is a problem and the new frames are of new design or higher quality steel with most of us breaking in the same spots. This is more then just a coincidence and the fact that they are replacing the frame with out a fight. If the frames weren’t defective they would just weld the break at best or just call it rider abuse. The worst part is the new frames are on back order, hopefully this is the case. It would suck if we go through all the hassle just to have it happen again. At any rate it’s good to know that Suzuki is standing behind there product!

So after reading all of these reply's I assume that I will probably need to inpect my Frame after every ride. It kinda sucks but I guess it's like you said "if you ride hard you break things so you should learn how to fix them" It's a good learning process.
