There were a number of problems posted regarding the 2002 Vinsons. What problems are people having with the 2003, both auto and manual? I have not seen as many posts and don't know why.

 

I am not sure if Suzuki has solved all their problems for 2003, but my 2002 certainly had its share. They still haven't fixed the rear axle. It is bent, and I think they are all bent. Check it if you are looking to buy one. I would not recommend buying one from Metro Cycle either, although they had the lowest prices at the time.

 

What is the problem with Metro Cycles? I looked at a 500 auto today and they did have a good price. However it the shop has a problem...I'd like to know what it is before I buy.

i haven't had any problem with mine, although i only have 160 miles on mine. it is an awsome 500. after hearing from owners of 650's and other 500's, i wouldn't buy anything else.
