Default QUADZILLA PADDLE?

I am building an lt500r with a Trinity ported Stage 4 cylinder and head, pipe, carb. etc. It also has a +6 swingarm. I primarily drag race and hill shoot. Which paddles do you recomend? I am leaning toward 25" 10 paddle haulers with smooth buffs in the front. Is that too much tire for that bike in the rear? I also heard about using the 22" tire with a narrow rim to "pinch" them up. What do you think?

I heard Sand Tires Unlimited custom groove their tires according to your needs. It might be worth a shot! Later XR

I would get the DuraBlue rear hubs with the Honda bolt pattern 4/110 for the LT500R. Then get 8 inch wheels and 22X11X8 Ultra buff Haulers. If you put a Suzuki GSXR 1100cc in it then go with the 25" haulers.

I wouldnt bother with getting the hubs and switching to a honda bolt pattern, just get 8" wheels for your zilla and run 22X11X8 tires. When they get spinning, they bulge up and get a little taller.

ULTRA BUFFS? I am guessing you mean Skat Trak. Anyways, figure about $250 give or take $30 depending on size if new, and around $100-150 used.

The Ultra Buffs are made by Skat Trak. They have a super thin carcass and weigh next to nothing. This means they are only good for drag racing, no trail riding, no jumping, etc. They are fairly expensive for a single purpose tire. I prefer the Padla Brats or something like a 10 paddle hauler. I run the Padla Brats on my Zilla and have no problem hooking up. My bike is heavily modified and holds it own quite well. I paid $250 for my Padla Brats on 8" Black Label wheels. Hope this helps.

Well, I guess I never heard of Ultra buffs, I have heard mention, but I always figured it refered to Skat trak tires in general. I know there area lot of people that dont know what they have and can't even spell Skat Trak right. I would have to agree to get a more all purpose tire than a drag tire. I run Skat trak Haulers 20X10X10 on my 86 LT250 and love them. I paid $100 for the tires on Ebay and had 10X9 blue label Douglas wheels sitting in my garage. The combo is very light. Works great.
