MELLOW OUT PEOPLE !! I was asking to see what most of you did about securing your wheels, not start a P---ing match. If I have my shiny new lugnuts to go along with my other billet stuff, so be it. I wasn't exactly telling all of you to trash your tapered lugs and spend the large for some shiny new nuts. I have seen a wheel fall of, a front on a Honda 400EX with coned nuts and stock wheels. I'm sure that it was NOT tightened properly. Actually I was considering longer studs so that the upside down nuts with washers would have more thread to grip.
And I know or 4 people besides myself who bought Douglas wheels and did NOT get different nuts.
