Default Sand tires

I'm looking to get a set of sand tires and I think its going to be between the sand geckos or the sand sharks. Anybody have any pros or cons and what do you run and why. I have a stock kfx 400 soon to be modified and I'm not sure what tire size is a good one. What would be the difference in wheel sizes and why. Thanks for any info.

Jeremy

If you get ITP rims (9X9 in rear), they are wider and have a greater offset than stock or Douglas rims. So you will end up +3" wider in back and +2" in front, which is nice in the sand.

I don't go any larger than 20" tall tires in the rear. Tall tires will cost you low end torque, which you need on the sand. Heavy tires will cost you power too, so my preference is the buffed down Skat-Trak Edges.

I had a set of haulers. They ran good till the paddles literally started falling off. I think they are scrap.
I have Maxxis paddles now. A heavyer tire, but is holding up well.
