pro design kill switch

Default pro design kill switch

i know how to hook up a kill switch the rite way but i was wondering ..can i hook it up so there is no key..so like when the thether is out there is no power..but when in the quad gets power..i am getting a kfx hood soon and it will cover where i put my key hole..i can put another hole but i would like to get ride of the key..or is this a bad idea..thanks for your help

you can do that as long as you don't want to use the lights or you keep them on all the time.

i keep them on all the time im riding it ..so that wouldnt be a issue..i just want to do this ..with out messing up the electral stuff on the quad..i want to hook it up so when the tether is in place the quad can start and the lights are on..then when i pull the thether the quad is off and the power is off to..just in case you didnt get what i was trying to say the first time..thanks for your help.johnny

Default pro design kill switch

Can you give detailed instructions on installing the kill switch? My buddy wants to install his but didnt get any instructions and he is trying to find out.

Default pro design kill switch

to hook it up the rite way ..ground out the short wire to the frame and hook up the long wire to the coil...if your on the brake side of the quad its the black thing near the radiator ....there are 2 wires ..black and black and white..hook up the long wire to the black one..then your done..
