Default Gas in the oil of my 87 LT250R

Ok. Today I went to change the oil of my LT250R that I got about a week ago. I havent ridden it. I wanna go through it and make sure everything is ok on it. But today when I pulled the plug on the bottom of the case...almost straight gas came out...very little oil. The fluid that came out looked like glitter on the bottom of the bucket when I pored everything out. I know what that was. But I just wanna know why there was gas in the oil. this wheeler was not well maintained obviously. WHat could have caused this gas in the oil?
Thanx,
Chris

Either the guy poured gas in there or your piston and rings are really shot. does the quad run? Your gonna need the cylinder bored too. Maybe even resleeved.
