lt250r gearing

Default lt250r gearing

im going to get new sprockets and i was wonderin how many teeth i should increase or decrease ??

depends on how much power you got, what size tire you run and what kind of riding you plan to do.

im running 22 realtors on the back and 21 razrs on the front and i do mostly open trail riding and small pit ridin

I've got a near stock 85 with about the same setup, I geared down to 11/44 and love it

Default lt250r gearing

I found that even after porting, increased compression and a 36mm carb, the stock gearing for our 91 was right on. I tried a 13 on the front and that would make great top end, but with the 12 on front it was easier and more fun to ride.
