I finally got the call from Suzuki today and they got a Z250 in. I'm going to check it out Monday afternoon. Maybe if I get lucky I can talk my dad into bring it home. (If it isnt sold by then, they only have one) Does anybody have a 250 and what do you think of it so far??

Got my Z250 today. It is great. It is definately a rocket compared to my 160. I only paid (my dad paid) $4200 for it.

Default Z250 or Z400?

Now that my Son has ridden the Z250 for 2 weeks, I can give some early impressions. It goes over whoops well. The front end is light and my Son usually skips over them with ease. He's usually pulling wheelies while going over them. The one problem that I see is that ther is not enough support behind the rear fenders. The Z400 has a steel bracket behind the heel guards but the Z250 doesn't. The plastic is flimsy enough that you can actually rub the tires with them if you're leaning way back. Also, the plastic rivets pop out all the time. They could have taken a lesson from the Z400 there.
