I am going to get my Vinson this Wednesday i think, and i would just like to know what problems people have had with theirs.

Well, that should tell you something!! Seriosuly though, I've only had mine for 2 weeks, but I love it!!

 

Nothing that was not self induced!

 

I just picked up my Vinson on Saturday 4/26. Only logged 30 miles but it has been awesome so far. Glad that I went for the Vinson instead of the Grizz...

 

Some of the early '02 model automatics has shifter problems that were resolved before the '03s came out. The only other thing I heard was the rear brake rotor warping, but they improved that with a slotted rotor. Love my Vinson!

 

Have had my vinson for about a month so far i haven't had any problems .No notorious tranny problems so far.The only thing i am noticing is that at low speed it almost sounds like there is plastic rubbing on a tire,i mean real slow but i cant find where this noise is comming from there is no plastic rubbing.That may be a normal sound at low speed and it is running fine.Just put 26" gators on it amd it hooks up like a tank not too much seems to stop it but if it does the warn will help me out.So far it is an awsome machine.Good luck

 

Thanks everyone for the replies. I just bought it today, a day earlier than i thought, haven't brought it home yet, probably friday or satrday. It is a Yellow 5spd. I can't wait to ride it!!!

 

I have a 2002 Vinson and I had to change my brakes at 500 miles and now that I have 700 miles I have to change them again... I'm not sure if there is anyone else with this problem but just be for-warned... Suzuki came good for the pads and rotors the first time, but this time the dealer said that perhaps I would have to call Suzuki to talk to them and get this "problem" rectified because I can't keep replacing my front brakes every 2 to 500 miles.

 

I've had problems with mine just about ever since I got it..The tranny has been a nightmare and the rear brakes wear out real fast..Mines going back to the dealer next Thursday..This will be the last chance Suzuki has to fix mine,if its not fixed this time,I'm contacting my Lawyer again!
