I have never rode a 250r but if a stock lt-250 is faster than a stock 250r then a lt-250 with a pipe would definetly beat a stock 250r

. Huedog is right about the 86 lt250 having no power valve it also only has 5 speeds. Mine (86) ran three quad lengths behind a piped 250r with a 50lb lighter rider on it in a quarter mile when it was bone a$$ stock. I find it hard to believe the same quad could even touch a powervalved 6speed lt250 with equal rider weight and a pipe if that’s the best he could do against me

HUEDOGG......... how old are you?

We have not been able to fairly race our 250s because when we were at glamis, I didnt have paddles for mine and he did.
BUT, even with his HUGE advantage, I STILL kept up with him up comp hill, just barely falling behind toward the top because
I was spinning like crazy. With paddles, I surely would have beat him by a few bike lengths.

"all i have to say is that my LT265 will smoke your bro's LT and your R" Guess what?
I didnt say anything about your LT265, did I? I was talking about stock bikes. If you want to
talk modded, All I have to say is that my 500, well I guess I dont really have to say it.

also, even HE admits that with paddles on my stock R, it will beat his bike up comp hill. No question about it.
And I am talking about the non-powervalved 86'. I have no exp. with the 87+.
Im sure they are faster than the 86'.

According to the immaturity in your posts like

"how fast is this stock 250R ,88-90 mph's I DON'T THINK SO" does a stock LT250 go 88-90MPH? of course not, so why did you say that?

"MR.350X WAS SAYING THAT HIS STOCK 250R HAD MORE POWER THAN HIS BROTHERS PIPED LT250. SAYING THAT WOULD INFER THAT HIS STOCK 250R WAS FASTER THAN THE PIPED LT. RIGHT?"

Cmon give me a break, is that reason to start a new thread about it?
I said that MY 250R seems faster (and he agrees) than HIS piped LT250R. That doesnt mean that I THINK THAT ALL 250RS ARE FASTER
THAN ALL LT250'S. MINE vs. HIS and nothing more.

I would guess that you are about 16.

can only go as fast as your huevos! and suspension can take you. the LT is just a joke, the frames were junk, the powervalve was reliable, but unfortunately the rest of the motor was a grenade. the TRX has it all, best handling, and mods available from at least 5000 different shops. try to get a decent set of a-arms or swing arm for the LT, not easy is it. I loved my R handling so much, the first thing i did with the Z400 was to convert it to 250R suspension geometry. now if i could only stamp honda on the case, i wouldnt feel so bad about owning a suzuki

First, Calquad: please feel free to race my 250r honda anytime. Id like to see you use me as traction since we are all so slow...

Second, anybody who says suspension (or lack of caring about suspension) in a drag bike, is obviously a rookie. Suspension and chassis setup is what will make you fast, not horsepower alone.

Last, ive never lost to a "drag" LT250 OR 500 since ive been racing in a straight line, and that isnt even on our drag bike. You never see a LT based bike in the top of the asda leader boards, and never will. That has to tell you something.

LT's have their place, just not in drag racing

CAN'T WE ALL JUST ALONG...... GEEZZZZZ!!!!! You guys fight back-n-forth like my 6 and 7 year old little cousins. SHUT UP!! I love my 86' LT and I'll never talk **** about Hondas. Suzuki has good machines like the Zilla and GSXRs and RMs.
