Maybe you should take a closer look a-hole. I wasnt trying to bash you. but obviously you took it the wrong way. Axle's ARE cheaper for the 250r, sprocket hubs are cheaper, SWING ARMS ARE ALMOST 300 DOLLARS CHEAPER FOR A 250R. i I'll take that as a yes. And yeah, lonestar isnt the only manufacture, but they sure do prove my point. I love how all the aftermarket parts are based off the 250r also.

I bought my first 250r for 800 bucks, with a extra set of dune tires. So...looks like i have an extra 200 to spend on my bike over your 1k LT huh...

Im done with you.

No you should. The swing arm is cheaper for the 250r and the sprocket hub is $20 less. Other than that I saw nearly identical prices. I ask other readers to go and look as well. Get your head out of your a**. You have no real point.
Axels for both are $410. Judging your intelligence you looked at the price for the Quadzilla which was $433
A-Arms for both are $760
Rear wheels hubs for both-$184
Sway bars for both are $262

I can go on, but no need to pound you into the ground any more.

Lets line em up. My 800 dollar 250r against your 700 LT. Ahh hell lets line up my best 250r against your best LT. Find the fastest LT in the country and lets line them up. Doesnt even have to be yours. And who runs sway bars on a dune machine???

What, I proved you wrong about parts,so you wanna race? Hey, You said parts were cheaper and I was naming off parts. How did the argument go from price to seeing who is faster. You live in California, so go check the classifieds and tell me the average price of a 250r and the average price of a LT250. Funny thing is, I have read so many posts of people claiming the LT250(87 and later) are faster than the 250r. Also, if your $800 250r is either of the ones in your pictures, then I am sure it is now about a $8000 quad. It must be nice to have money to spend. Your probably hire someone to do all the work then take credit. How much money do you have in that $800 quad, and whats the upkeep. Like I said, I have less than $2000, probably around$1500(including what I paid for the quad), in my quad and I am enjoying the hell out of it.

I dont post pictures of the duner bike. Not something im proud of. But i ride it. You didnt prove me wrong, your just a little closed minded to the subject, and that is ok i guess. Stock for stock LT's are faster, and ive said that before. I dont shop out of the classifieds either, thats how you get burned, and pay too much. I paid 800 for my bike in california. Guess you need to shop a little better? Those bikes, although they may cost 8k, ill never be beaten by an LT.

And no, we do our own work thanks.

Nothing wrong with shopping from the classifieds if you know what your doing, well I guess that rules you out. Also, I always look at the classfieds. I make some extra money on the side by buying and selling used quads. I know what things are going for and worth. Trust me, 250rs are expensive, unless they are total crap. Also, I never claimed that LTs were the fastest. This is some argument you made up in your head. I even said that my brothers 250r is faster. Also, Im not closed minded. I do my homework. In Dirt wheels magazine, you can get Barnett clutch baskes and wiseco piston kits(for example) cheaper for LT's than 250r's. Look it up. If you dare

Nothing like beating the horse till its good and dead too.

I haven't seen a decent 250r in years. I did see one at the dealer last year and it was worth next to nothing. It was dripping gas as I was looking at it. Glad I don't smoke.

I recently picked up an all original, and I mean ALL ORIGINAL (pipe, grips, uncut plastic) 86' 250R nice and clean, runs like an
absolute champ for $2500. It came out in the cycletrader, I knew it would sell that weekend, so I picked it up the next day.
Also, the owner was an older man who had owned it for 10 years. This is in cali near san diego. (glamis)

I think I scored. Yea, I scored.
