Default z 400 frame problems?

Are they still having the frame problems on these bike? Some people say that they have got the problem fixed, is that correct? I just got a new kfx 400 and I'm pretty worried about it. Thinking about buying the Lonestar gusset kit and getting it over with. Will I need to, or will the frame hold up? Heres a link to the kit.

Default z 400 frame problems?

crashman,

I have one and have had it for a year. I have zero problems. I don't race, I ride dunes/desert. I do some smaller jumping on this quad, never bigger than 60 or so feet. I think with a racing application or some hard landings you will se frame cracks. I have a 400ex, that no one complains about frame cracking, with 4 cracks in the frame (all fixed). It has been ridden in the same conditions as the z, but with aftermarket suspension and a little larger jumps.
If you are going to abuse or race it I would suggest gusseting any quad. Or if your name is crashman ,lol.
