Default Good price for Zilla???

" 1990 SUZUKI LT500, New tires front and rear, no cracks in aftermarket white plastic, twist throttle included but not installed. Gold Series pipe with FMF silencer. Super clean, stock with listed exceptions. must sell, make offer. " Does this sound like a good deal for $2,100 obo. I havnt seen it yet but could get my dad to drive me over( dont have my permit yet ) and look at it after I sell my Rancher. I want a project atv so wouldnt mind doing some work as long as its not too costly(over 500 dollars to start) but am planning to take it to a gravel pit with small-medium jumps and some hills, see I just want to kill my friends blasters does anyone know how a Zilla handles doing these things or should i just get a 250r

See ya, any replies greatly appreceated

Kid you will use them as traction if you don't watch it!!! Sure you don't want to make a pit-stop at a 250??

Hey Superstar how does the 250 do with the things I mentioned (including killing blasters) since the 250 is fairly inexpensive its also an option

Zilla is by far the most powerfull quad . I had a couple of them. It depends on where you ride if you ride in the woods I would go for the 250 but even better would be a 4 stroke. Me and my buddy went riding I was on my 500 and he was on a 400ex he had no problem keeping up with me in the woods. but when we got to an open area it was adifferent story.I n the woods I could ride a hell of a lot faster on my raptor then I could on my zilla. and on your question about that zilla being worth 2100. If it runs moves and stops It will always be worth 2000 no matter how bad it looks. Just my 2

Default Good price for Zilla???

Hi thanks for all the replies I really am not sure what quad I should get Im leaning more towards the 250 thinking that ill kill myself on the zilla First I started looking at the trx250r or 400ex but saw the price of even the used ones in ok shape and then I saw the zilla and lt250, so really im not sure what one to get. And as I said Ill be riding in my friends gravel pit with jumps and hills. Anybody know what tires I should use?

PS. I would still like to kill those blasters

Thanks for any in-put

Mark

You will still kill those blasters with the LT250R. The 85-86 ones will beat'em bad but the 87-92 ones will beat'em even worse. I like the 500 a lot but they are higher maintenence than the Banshee. I also feel that the 500 is indefinitely WAY too much ya. You can find a LT250R in good shape for about $1500. There is some aftermarket for them but not as much as the Hondas or Banshee
