Default Rincon starter slipping. HELP !!

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my Honda Rincon 650 (TRX 650FA3) and I can't seen to info here in Ireland regarding it, the local Honda dealer has told me that it was imported from the US and therefore they will not support it. Hope you guys can help.
The problem is that the starter appears to be slipping, I am fairly good around engine but have very little experience on ATV's more on motorcycles. From looking at the problem it would sound like there is some kind of starter clutch used to disengage the starter when the motor firers. The problem is this is kicking out to soon, I can manage to get it to start most times but it is a hassle, so any info on the following would be helpful,
. Is this a common fault?
. Is the starter clutch at fault?
. Does the engine have to come out or can it be accessed from the rear of the engine?
. What parts are likely to be required?
. Any idea of the cost.
. Any ideas were I could down load a couple of pages to try see the set up.

Thanks in advance
Bigrhys
