I put in a new battery and the atv started right up, but when i tried to start it up later its like the electric starter wines , the neutral light dims and so does the back taillight... its a brand new battery... could it be a connection to the starter? or the starter itself? any help would be great

if the starter it self makes noise it could be a bearing i'd check the battery state of charge to see if it was drained between start up attempts witch would mean that its still under a load when it's off and that too will have to be traced but don't over look somthing simple like bad connections at the battery terminals
