carb question
#1
Took carb apart at shop, followed a fellas advice on a how to site, took some time, but I beleive it's clean, sprayed alot, covered a few holes and reprayed, back and forth, cleaned all jets, and what not. noticed bowl gasket is broken, missing around an 1/8 of an inch. also in the cleaning I seemed to have lost a little o ring for the throttle adj screw. Will either of these two thing's decrease performance. The quad seems to take off, great low end then seem's to level out. any other ideas, it's a 2005 eton 70
2 stroker. stock bike. the only thing I did was removed the oil injection system. Must the thing be re=jetted, since the oil system has been removed

the o ring will keep dirt out of the throttle cable without it u might end up with it sticking and having to b replaced sooner & as long as ther fuel bowl isn't leaking i wouldn't worry to much as long as it is running corectly.

appreciate the input, not to change the thread but removed clutch cover, the belt seems to be loose can touch it together when sqweezed in the middle, is this ok ? checked rollers, seemed ok, not sure what im looking for but they all looked the same. belt is a bando 70 16.5 30, got some advice to switch to a polaris belt. have the size written down, the fella, paul reimer, great fella, said it was 10mm larfer, and would give it more top end. tha front variator seems to have around a 1/2 inch of unused travel. any input would be appreciated. If a two stroke starts to rev up with the throttle at idle, it may have an air leak between the carb and engine, or around the crank shaft.
I think I'd also try to find a replacement for the float bowl gasket. I wouldn't want dirt/grit to migrate in there.
Not sure about needing to rejet when removing an oil injection system and switching to premix, but I would think it would make the mixture slightly leaner. Would probably have to try it and see how it runs.
