I recently took my carb apart and out in a stage one jet kit. Before i took apart it didnt run right either would only go about 11 mph. I put the jet kit in and all i get is 22 mph. i cleaned everything but i do remember looking through the pilot jet and not being able to see through it. Could the pilot jet prevent it from going over 22. When it ran good it ran easily in the 50s. Now full is only at 22mph. Thanks

 

Pilot jet could be the problem or not getting enough air

 

you might have to rebuild carb fuel pump might be getting weak and not pumping enough gas. also take carb spray when you have carb apart and spray through every jet and make sure it goes through the passages and comes out where it should.
