I just got my AC running, it has a 98 model 300 motor and carb on it. Once it is warmed up, whenever you take it out of gear, the idle goes up high. It idles fine in gear and runs great. Whenever the idle goes up, if I open the fuel enrichment valve (choke) it will idle back down. Since the fuel enrichment gets it air from the diaghram area, I assume the diaghram is going up (when it shouldn't) and the fuel enrichment circuit is taken its pressure away when open. So in the end, I guess I need to either add spacers to the spring or get a stronger spring for the diaghram? Thanks
