CAT Back Up Light
#1
I am either getting old or lazy, maybe both, but I decided to install a “backup” light on my ATV. This will make closing gates and unloading in the dark much easier and safer.

Warn Winch makes a Back-Up light that will provide all the backup lighting I will need. The kit comes with a 35-watt H3 halogen bulb mounted on a universal mounting bracket, wiring harness and a water resistant switch. The light is designed for ATV use.

First I disassembled the “dash” on my Arctic Cat 650 H1 TRV ATV. I picked a spot adjacent to the speed odometer to mount the water resistant toggle switch.

After routing the wires and securing them with wire ties I connected the wiring harness direct to the ATV’s battery.

Lastly I routed the lights wires and mounted the light.

That’s all there was to it, about an hour and you will be backing up in style.
