I have a 2003 honda rancher. I recently had my carb rebuilt. I changed the oil, filter and adjusted my valves to .006. After a hour of running i pulled the spark plug and its running lean. What do i need to do to correct this issue. Also as its idling it dont back fire but it seems to i want to say stall for a second and when it does its like the engine has a nock or something down in the bottom . i dont know if its the clutch making this happen. sometimes it will even make the engine cut off. Also... my muffler where it connects to the head, after running for a short period starts to glow red and this happens after running for a few minuts at idle. this really worries me. I am wondering if its time to take it to honda and let them work on it because this machine is my backbone. i dont know what i would do without it because i had lower back surgery and i am fused all up. it carries all my corn, deer ect. if any one has a cell # i could take a short video with my phone and send it so you can hear this issue. if you are that banged up, I would have Honda tinker with it. Working on that thing would require alot of bending and kneeling,,,,,let the pros contort themselves,,,save your back for the riding you CAN do brother
