Default Kawa KVF 300 praire problem

I have an ATV Kawa KVF 300 of 2000 with only 4000 km, I use it every 6 months or so (on the beach) the fact is that while beginning to backfire when accelerating and climbing turns badly (carb dirty I think)

Today I removed the carburetor and cleaned thoroughly every jet (three) that were really dirty also the carburetor that had pretty crap, the carburetor has two electrical sensors that I removed and cleaned and checked the connections and are apparently well.

When I start pulling the first lever manual start (battery not charging) and keeps perfectly at idle, but at speed it seems as if the rev limiter acting engine that has the quad for reverse , seems to come a point which cuts the ignition and do not let the engine get rev.

Maybe the reverse gear mechanism that limits engine speed to avoid going too fast backward (for safety) are permanently activated and also acts in the forward?

The truth is that I find the reason that the engine does not take turns, I changed the spark plug and new gas and still the same.
Excuse for my bad english (google)
Any suggestions are welcome.

Mine has a carb heater. To prevent carberater icing. My atv is a 2008. I would think yours would have it. I also run aviation gas in mine. 100 LL. Especially if it sits for a long time. It has no additives in it so it won’t varnish up the inside of your carb when it sits for long periods.

Probably the worst thing you can do for your quad is to only use it every 6 months....sitting all that time just causes corrosion, especially around the water, just like a boat, the water in the air can cause all kinds of issues and will need constant maintenance to keep it working correctly. Those are great machines, I bought one in 2000 and kept it for 16 years and had O issues with it. Then again it was used frequently and always maintained! You may very well need a complete carb rebuild kit with all new gaskets, normally just cleaning a carb does not work well or last very long. The other problem is with electrical connections around moisture (the water) being near the ocean or lake will cause lots of corrosion issues especially with the electrical connections. Good luck

I read it then looked at the original poster's username. When I didn't recognize it I looked at the date.
