Default 1996 Polaris 2x4

I have a machine that I got running and it idles very good, but the minute you give it any throttle it runs like it is starving for fuel. I have checked the carb and fuel lines and they are fine. It seems to me that it is a electrical problem. Could it be the stator or the cdi box? Thanks for the help

Install a carb kit in it to eliminate it as the problem first.96 Polaris carb kits | eBay

Already have. It cuts out and sometimes dies and has no spark. Ten minutes later it has spark and starts right up but won't rev up

Possible electrical component problem then as it gets warm. Cheap 5 buck manual can keep you from throwing parts at it. Has good electrical tests on stator,coil.etc.DOWNLOAD 1996-1998 Polaris ATV Repair Manual ALL MODELS - Download ... Plus before you go too far,do a compression check.
