Stupid quistion I'm sure. But I have a 01 supercrew f-150 5.4 v8. I have two ATV's that I will be towing on this 5x13 single axle trailer. Well this be a problem for my truck. It has the original equipment bumper on it.

No you will be fine, But I would put a hitch on the truck. (bolts to the frame) I pull a 5x14 with a 1500 gmc with a 4.8 v8 ( look at my photos). And I have no problems at all.

Youy probably rated to tow aroud 7-8K pounds. I tow 2 sleds on a open trailer, with a F-1504.6.
I have friends who pull twin axle, 20' sled trailers weighing 5000 + with half ton trucks. Its tougher on the truck, but still does it.

At work we have replaced 4 trannys in the ford f150's due to people pulling trailers in Over Drive. Tell me if I'm wrong but I believe your book should say that in the trailer section. I think one of the main thing about the f150 is they use the radiator as the trans cooler, where as the bigger modeles run a seperate cooler for the trans.

OOOOPS....I forgot to ask if you are running an automatic if you are running a manual...disregard what I said

Ya, you have way more enough truck to pull that....my dad has an F150. 5.4 and I've hawled an 8x16 double axle trailer with four quads..but he has a hitch..I defenetly wouldn't put all of that on a bumper

You should also under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES not pull ANY HEAVY LOAD in STANDARD OR AUTOMATIC in OVERDRIVE. IT IS FOR HIGHWAY USE ONLY. Not for pulling a load.
