hold on,,,,,,tell me more about this aluminum frame stuff
I need to get better at welding.
Although,,,I did use 20ga 1 5/8" metal studs and track to errect my closet. That sucker came out as rigid as can be,,,,and if I need to ,,,I can disasemble it (all screwed together).
I will post some pics of it soon.

Thanks Bing, and all for the responses. I will build a aluminum bedframe this winter. It will be on the RH side(curbside), and will fold up, out of the way, when not in use.

pic # 11 shows it from the outside (2 feet deep,,,5 feet wide) set up for camping

I've seen BING's trailer, looks like that was a great idea and works well for him. I though t it was way cool.
