Ford Ranger or F-150?????
I am currently saving up to buy a truck, I am getting my license in a week and i have to drive a light blue ford escort for now but I will be buying a truck in the very near future and I dont know what i should get: the Ford Ranger or F-150? I drive alot, I will be averaging about 30-35 miles every day so I need good gas mileage and I will be hauling people quite often, thats why i want a crew cab. I haul alot of parts too and I frequently carry some pretty good size loads (motorcycles, tractors, engines, etc...) as well as my quad which is 50" wide and just barely squeezes in the back of a Ranger. So what should I get? I like the f-150 due to the size but how good is it on gas? Like a 97 or newer with the 4.6 or maybe something bigger. As for the ranger, I think it's uglier than **** in stock form but I would get the prerunner fender kit and some nice 33 or 35 inch tires to fill up the big wheel wells to make it look good, I hear they're good on gas, how much better than the ranger? Can you fit 2 quads in the back of a ranger? I am getting a second quad pretty soon, most likely a zilla or a banshee and my girlfriend is gonna ride my 440ex so being able to haul 2 quads is important.

Ford Ranger or F-150?????
Yup, fix and repair daily. My 96 that I bought in July of 02', and after putting another approx 30,000 miles on it (around 66k), all I've had to do is replace the brakes. This truck won't ever give up.
If you can afford it, I'd go with the F150. I love my Ranger, it's great for what I do. But who doesn't want a bigger and better vehicle? I could just see you being a little jealous everytime you saw an F150 go by when you're in your Ranger.
BTW, newer Rangers especially are very poor on gas. If you were going to get a 4.0L, the mileage would be very close to that of a F150. I say go full-size! I myself will buy one of the new style F150's in a couple years once they come down in price.
