Diff. between dual or triple axle trailer
#1
Does anybody have experience with both. What are some of the pros and cons of either. We are looking at 2 different trailers one having a triple axle. We are towing with an excursion V-10.

I have the 2004 sierra 29sp same as the sandpiper 29 ft and it tows great. The tripples are a bit harder to get into tight spots without twisting up the tires. The 29 ft has 16 in wheels and tires to off set the need for tripple 15 in tires. I do like the set up of that new 31 ft but it was not out when I bought mine so I never got to compare the two. I have a buddie with a 30 ft weekend warrior and he says that the back tires wear out quite fast as well. I tow my 29 ft with a F250 V10 with 4.56 gears ( after market) and a superchips microtuner and it does great even though I have 35 in tires on it.
