I have a toy hauler and the sealer (caulk) around the windows and door has dirt stuck to it that wont rinse off. I dont want to scrub the sealer because the sealer comes off if you do. Is there a way to clean it or do you just get rid of it and put more on?

 

This is the best thing to do. Take the window out, remove everything clean it all up good. Then they have this sticky like rolls of this compound stuff. Damn im not sure what its called but go to your dealer and see if they got it or ask the manufacture to send you some. Then you would have to apply it around the edge of the window and the put the window back in smash it down good screw it back in from the back. Then with a razor blade remove the excess of it. This is when you get out the caulking.

there are 3 types of tape.
1)Putty
2)Butyl
3)putty/butyl mix

Butyl is best and most expensive, but considering the labor, i'd definitely go butyl, it ain't that much more.
