Just to let all that are watching this tread know;
It went very well @ the dealership today. An assessment was made of the problem area, and parts are on order to fix this problem. The dealership went as far to fix some other concerns that i had with other items @ NO CHARGE, Thank you for doing that!!!!!!!

I'm very happy to say that an old freindship was re-kindled, that part makes me very happy!!!!!!

I'll continue to keep an update going till all REPAIRS are finished!!!!!! Thanks again for taking the time to read my post......Jim

Guy's,

After reading and keeping up with this thread, and getting ready to buy a new Hauler, and seeing the really bad treatment recieved here for what looks like any easy fix problem I did this. Three days ago I contacted on my own WW and explaned to them what was going on here, that I thought they where and are acting real badly, and what they where willing to do to help fix this problem. I also explaned that the sale of a brand new unit was at stack if they did not or would not fix this simple problem, for Big Daddy. They actually blew me off the same as they did him. I then went yesterday afternoon and bought a brand new Sierra Sport 23ft bumper pull Toy Hauler from a local dealer. WW probably does not need my $28,469. and they sure arn't getting any part of it. I wish I could have helped, but with this bunch at WW I don't think anyone can.

I will have to admit that before I bought a unit built by Forrest River, or should I say, another unit by Forrest River. I gave this a lot of thought. I own now three RV's one of those three is a Forrest River made "Cedar Creek" 34 ft 5er. I have read and have some friends that just hate any thing made by Forrest River, they always quote service related issues as the reason. This is for sure a concern with any high dollar purchase. My Cedar Creek 5er is now a couple of years old being a 2002, I have had only one thing go wrong and require service. This was a decorative piece on the outside of one of the three slideouts, Forrest River could not have handled this quicker or better, so my only personal dealing with them was a positive one. With that said I do have friends that say they have had real nightmare problems with Forrest River made products, I have not and took a chance with this new purchase. I have owned severeal different type and styles of RV's from 5 th wheel trailers, a Bigfoot Slide In camper, a couple of Motor Homes and more than one bumper pull trailers. I am not new to this Rodeo, it has been my experiance that cheap trailers or any cheap RV has cheap stuff on it. Really expensive RV's have a lot more of that same cheap stuff.

You mention your last post and hooking up Big Daddy with the factory. That is good and I hope they are willing to solve his problem it sounds like they should. However I also contacted "Weekend Warrior" directly, they where rude and obnoxious, so rude and obnoxious that if we had been face to face there would have been some blood shed by one of us. I will spare the readers there comments, but will say that "WW" made a enemy that day. I went right out and purchased this new hauler from a local dealer simple becuase of that conversation. If they are willing to treat a "Potential" customer that way, I feel like "SERVICE" is a word they know nothing about at all. I will from this point forward steer as many people away from "WW" as I possible can.

Headinjury, I am pleased to learn that you helped out BigdaddyI believe, Gunny jumped the gun when he contacted "another WW dealer" especially after you responded that you would look into the problem. Gunny, there are rude people in every profession. Fortunately, WW, has Headinjury working for them and he stepped up to the plate And, as far as we know, he has taken care of Bigdaddy.
Granted, you hope that it wouldn't have come down to an atv forum and several contacts to individuals But it does happen. When I go to buy my new trailer, WW will be back on the list. I will just look it over more then once

Diver,

You are correct I did jump the gun, no doubt about it, it wasn't even my place to do or say anything. But in my own defense here is what happened.

I have been a reader or lurker here on this site for sometime. As a matter of fact I had no need to do anything other than read the matereal here from time to time. I started following this thread shortly after it started, and the more I read the madder it made me that any manufacturer would treat a customer this way. It seems to have become the norm for the "Seller" of anything to have the attidude that if you don't buy it or you arn't happy with it, thats fine with them, and they will sell to the next guy in line. About this time I was in the market for a "Toy Hauler". I have a BigFoot slide in camper that I use on weekends and tow a inclosed trailer behind. The slide in is a real pain to load and unload on the truck, and I had been playing around with the idea of a "Hauler" to replace it. Sense I was in the market and also saw what I precieved to be an injustice, and still do, I thought that "Maybe" just maybe I had a little leverage. I then used what I thought was good judgement with a manufacturer who I assumed was responsable and ethicial. I was wrong on both counts. In my opinion "WW" is neither responsable or eithicial. These conclusions are based on personal FACTS as I was the one who contacted "WW" myself. And from that conversation anyone with even the smallest amount of intelligence would have come to the same conclusion I did. "WW" simple did not give a damn and where very vocal about it, as a matter of fact there was no reason for me to get the reaction I did from there representitive, NONE.

So there you go. I was trying to help a little, maybe I jumped the gun, maybe I had no business butting in at all, maybe, maybe, maybe. What I do know and there is no maybe about is "WW" and the type of people they are, NOT MUCH. I can not help but remember the old addage---Fool me once shame on you!! Fool me twice shame on me.
