Lightweight trailer tech

Looks like we are going to build one to our specs since the ones we want are either to much $$ or not 100% what we want. We are going to start planning it out this weekend and get a build sheet made up and price it all out. We have a steel connection and all the tools to build it minus the welder. I just sold mine when I got out of rock crawlin' All good we have connections there as well so we will see what happens.
As of now the basics are an expanded mesh floor to keep weight down and let the dirt fall through, 12' long and 83" between the fenders. We are not going with a deckover and tiny tires at this stage. We may end up modifying one of our new ones, but that is also up in the air at this point.

it looks like the flatbed is the best for your wants/needs
I was just pointing out something to consider. The smaller tires rotate faster,,,and dont handle the potholes/long trips quite as well.
If it works for ya,,,go with it....

I'd buy a deckover if I could find one locally dammit. They are all way up north it seems. Even to go look at one is out of the question.
Time to get our hands dirty and spend the same amount of $$ on building one with steel prices lately.

Okay, things have changed once again. I only need to haul 2 now and am looking for an 8x8 tilt bed to haul both of ours on and get rid of the brute one I have now in my sig (in the 4 sale section)
Anyone find in the MO area let me know and I will be on it. New or used.
