To heck with decking boards that are 3/4" thick. Use pressure treated 1-1/2" thick lumber and be done with it.

I have a 5x10 trailer with a 5x6 steel mess ramp trail gate and the 2x6x10 wood decking, the wood is much stronger then the steel mess and the ATV is not sitting and bouncing on the ramp gate for the whole ride.
