Enclosed Trailer
#31
Some really good idea's here with the enclosed trailers. Actually...I have been thinking the same...and going with an enclosed trailer. Still not set on the size...maybe either a 7x14 or 7x16 V-nose tandom axle.
Coyote170...really like the V-nose shelves that you built. That is a super idea...and one I will borrow! GRIN
Currently I have 2 machines...but looking to do some arranging. Sell my '09 Sportsman 850 XP and '09 PJ 5x12 trailer...and do the following;
Buy 1 each 2011 Sportsman 850 and 550 XP Touring models...one for me...and one for the wife. This will give us the opportunity to go trail riding with each other and take the kids along.
But...I want my garage back...so looking at the enclosed trailer to store the quads when no in use. I think I'll be making my move this coming January 2011.
Any-who...thanks for the idea's...and this GREAT thread! When I get mine...you can bet I will post pics of the setup. Take care....

Obviously, if you have a fuel leak then you'll have gas fumes in the trailer. For the slight amount of gas fumes you may have if your stored quads are working fine, then make sure you add front and back vents designed to provide airflow while towing.

I have looked around locally for an enclosed car hauler. I want an 8.5 x 22. Bumper pull for my gas powered 2500. Where would I really begin to look to get the best "deal" on one. I dont mean cheaply made cheap one but one that I can line with the bunks a generator and I was going to run the AC/Heat unit off a junk pop up camper. Who makes the best quality for the money?
