Default 3 atv Trailer

Looking to pickup a trailer and then buy atv's for myself and my wife and child. Can anyone recommend a trailer brand for carrying 3 atv's. Also, what is the minimum size I would need to be able to fit 3 on a trailer? Thank you.

How big are these quads? I had a 5x10 i could haul one small quad sideways, and fit a bigger one straight on the back, with room in the bed for one more. Took a bit of lifting to get them loaded though. Have a 6.5x14' trailer now, can haul... probably 4 quads sideways.

Haven't bought them yet as I wanted to make sure I could get a trailer that's big enough to hold them in my garage. I'm hoping to purchase two adult and one kids sized so if you're able to get 4 full sized atv's on that 16 foot trailer I think I should be good to go. Any idea of the overall length of that trailer when including the hitch and everything? I only have 20' of space in my garage. Thanks!

A 16' trailer will have a total length of about 19'. Its going to be close. A trailer that big is a great tool to have and usually gets used for more than just hauling quads.

A 14' trailer would be plenty.

If you side load them you should be able to get buy with a 12 foot trailer. Most adult wheelers with stock tires are about 48'' and a kids machine is plenty smaller. If you plan on growing in the sport get a 14 foot trailer so if you get different tires or a bigger machine for your kid you will have room.

The smaller the trailer the more of an all out pain it is to load and unload stuff..... I'd go as big as possible.... like they said above, you'll end up using it for more than quads.

I would personally go with a 16' trailer if it will fit the garage. That way, when the kids grow up and get on bigger quads you'll have the room for everyone's machine, even if they're full sized utility machines.

Get a deckover. That is one with the deck over the wheels. Many are 102 inches wide, so you can get two side by side. So if you get something in the area of 14 to 16 ft, you will get 4 on there. Look very closely at the weight rating. Don't over load it. Get brakes too. Just a safety margin. I had a 8.5 by 10 ft snomobile trailer that was seriously maxed out with three on it. So I upgraded. Just remember if it is close, you can swing the tongue to teh side and gain a few inches of space in the garage.
