If I took out all my back seats on the Mini Van I think I could carry my 500 in it.

Your biggest issue is going to be the height clearance. Minivans typically have a lot more of it than SUVs.

I have stuffed an LT160 in my 1998 Expedition, but had to compress the suspension to get it to fit without trashing the headliner.

Loosening the handlebars or taking the shocks loose may give you the added clearance, but be sure you will have a long enough space to store it in and still be able to shut the hatch

We got my son's in the back of a truck with a cap on. I would think an Explorer would be about the same.

I could see some people pulling it with a tow rope and a couple of flashers.

Default Hauling in the back of an SUV

I brought my Bultaco back from Cali in the suburban (took the third row seat out). I had it stood up and the tie downs attached to where the seat hooks in. All I had to do was loosen the handle bars and swing them down towards the floor. We compressed the suspension when we tied it down. My kids thought it was way cool.

When I bought an ATC 70 for my little guy, it went right in the back of the burb, I didn't even have to take the third seat out - cool!

Take pics!

Old thread but....

my wife bought a YFM100 Moto4 Champ 100cc before I could look at it. She shoved in the back of the suburban and brought it home. Didn't even have to lay down the 3rd row seat.
