How fast?????????????????????????

 

I'll throw in my vote for the new Wolverine, very mildly modified they will fly, Polaris blows! Just ask my friend on his weedwacker sounding, smoking Polaris....

 

I could very mildly modify a 400 Scrambler and it'll be way, way faster than any 4-stroke 2-valve Wolverine will ever be.

 

from experience, the xplorer is very fast and rides really nice and is good in the mud. I have ridden w/ wolverines and I didn't exactly blow them away but I was faster. I think the wolverine is better because I prefer the 4 stroke to the noisy 2 any day and chains and sprockets are a pain in the ****.
I also tried the sportsman 500 and that was an awesome machine it rode like a cadillac and was definatly fast enough.
I would say get what you can afford, and it all depends on what you want to spend.
