Warn winch, I now have solenoid mounted under right side of storage box Under seat (on the out side) just left of muffler about 6-7 inches. I ran the + cable the batt. (just enough cable to make it). Its tucked under nicely wire too. sooooo should I mount the control switch thingy on hanle bars or ?????

It would be good to wire the switch to the handle bars, so you can reach them and the throttle if you have to give it some gas. I had mounted my switch on the rear part of the front rack. I thought it would enable me to reach the switch and the cable. Also I don't really have room on the bars because of the speedo. But since I've used it a couple times. I'm going to try to mount it on the bars by the light switch on the bars. Warn has a switch that fits around the light switch. (Kinda L shaped)
That way it is in alignment with the other switches. You can also buy a key chain remote switch from Ramsey for your Warn.

My winch had 2 wires that came from the battery to the switch and 2 wires that came from the winch to the switch. ( I realize that Warn may not have 4 wires.) Hope something helped a little.
