Default Mower Attatchments? help please

Does anyone know if the lawn mower attachemnts for ATV's work as well as a regular lawn mower? And if they do, what type of atv would work best with one? thanks!

There's no reason why they wouldn't work well. The difficulty is with the ATV, really. You have to keep it at a low, steady speed - which is either difficult, or hard on the transmission. My AC250 has a super low gear range which would work well, but then the engine doesn't get as much cooling air as it should. Also, if the rear wheels (assuming 2x4) are locked, then you will tear up the lawn going around turns.

Cow,

I pull a Swisher 44" powered deck with my Kawasaki Mule 550. The Mule will cruise along happily at 5 mph, which is what Swisher recommends as a maximum speed for my deck, but I usually mow closer to 10 mph. I get at least as good cut quality as I did with my small John Deere rider. Plus the Mule has a dump bed and can carry 2 people and isn't too bad blasting through the woods.
