Default Sportsman or Grizzly or Rincon?

Ok...I'm getting up in my years and need to slow down. I have a Scrambler 500 now, but need something that rides a little softer. I've looked at the Sportsman, Grizzly, and the Rincon. I've had 3 Polaris machines so far and it seems as if though they break a lot..lol. I like having the auto trasmission. The majority of my riding now is just trails. I've got too many health problems to ride like I used to. I like playing in mud and water. My buddy bought the Honda Rincon recently, so far it's a great bike, but I'm scared of the new "car like" transmission it has. Anyone have any suggestions. I would really like to hear from people that own this machines. Any input is greatly appreciated and will help me to make my decision.

I know exactly where you are coming from. I was in the exact situation. After looking at and riding some of them, I bought the Grizzly. There were likes and dislikes about each. The Grizzly just had everything I wanted. In my opinion it is the best looking. The performance is unreal. I love to hill climb. The power that I have left at the top is awesome. There are alot of new Quads coming. One that looks promising is the Artic Cat 650. The best thing to do is to know exactly what features you want. Irs, digital speedo, disc brakes, dc outlet, locking differ, etc.. Then find the Quads that have them. Test ride them if you can. All the quads have their problems. All the companys produce some lemons. Just pray that after spending $7000 you don't end up with one. Good luck!!!!

I know what ya mean man, I have a Scrambler 500 as well and was in the same boat as you. I looked into the Grizz 660 and the SP 700 but decided on the Rincon and am very happy with it. They all have there good and bad points best advice is to just give them all a test drive and decide which one suits you best.
On a side note like sounds like you gotta smart buddy, but all jokes aside like the last guy said you might want to hold out and check out the the new AC 650, from the looks of it it's going to be the quad to have.

I was just faced with the same choices for the same reasons. I bought the Rincon (see pictures). I honestly believe they are all good machines and you most likely wont go wrong whatever choice you make. I bought the Honda because I liked the looks, the IRS, the financing (6.9%), and the fact that Honda's resale value is pretty damn good. As far as the tranny goes, I haven't had mine long enough to say good or bad... Take the dealer into consideration too. Are they helpful? Try asking the people who are in for service how they are being treated. Your not only buying a quad you're buying a relationship with the deal too. Good luck and let us know which one you choose...
