Default Grizzly 660

I would like to hear all the pros and cons of the Grizzly 660. I'm looking at purchasing a new ATV and would like to hear what's good and what's bad.

I have an '03 Grizzly and absolutely love it. The only con I can give you about it is that it's a little top heavy, but this can be solved by putting wider tires on it and/or wheel spacers which can be ordered from highlifter.com. I owned a prairie 650 before the Grizz. It was a little faster and had a little smoother engine, but if you're looking for flat out speed then buy a race quad...........The grizz has IRS all the way around and is unbeatable as far as off road ability goes. My grizz starts up first time, every time and is an awesome machine in the mud, especially now that I have ITP 589 mud tires on it. It goes through just about anything. Even in two wheel drive it rocks, but if things get hairy just engage the 4wd, and if things get really hairy, then engage the front locker. I believe that Yamaha and Kawasaki are the only ones to put true front lockers on their quads. I don't think you can go wrong with a Grizzly. The grizz also has more ground clearance than the Kawi. Hope this helps.

suzuki makes front lockers on the king quad 300's too, theyre a nice machine for tight technical trails.

Hey, Keep Up, what was the reason you went with the Grizzly over the Prairie? Just curious, they are both great atvs.

I've had Yamahas in the past and they held up well. I like the looks and the Grizzly better as well. I also bought the Yamaha YES extened warranty, which will probably pay off based on the way I ride..lol. It does have more ground clearance than my buddy's Honda Rincon, I'm not sure about the Prairie however. It looks mean compared to the others I think. I've been taking it easy so far, I haven't seen the full power of the machine yet, but if feels like there's alot left.
