Default Honda Rincon

I would like to hear all the pros and cons of the Rincon. I'm looking at purchasing a new ATV and would like to hear what's good and what's bad. Anyone have any problems with the Automatic Tranny yet?

I don't own a Rincon, and have never ridden one, but I have heard that the lack of engine braking is a problem????? I ride tough, rocky, technical trail stuff, so this eliminates it from my consideration completely.

I never heard this. I know my Rincon has engine braking and it seems to work great. There is no low gear but for the type of riding I do it's awesome.

Wolf is absolutely right, it's a great hybrid quad. As far as the vibration goes, I never noticed it. Maybe its because I have always rode Harleys and am use to the vibrations. Compared to my 107cu stroker this thing hums........

Are aluminum upper a-arms a bad thing???

Most of the 500 will tear up the honda in ride and performance and save some money. I bought a Vinson 550 and real happy with it. Good luck

rinhid-Try a search in the Honda forum. Also the magazines. But hey, if you have first hand knowledge, that beats everything. That is what this forum is for!! Florida is flat land, so it might not matter much either way.
