Default Temp light remains light on Grizzly 660????

The tempeture light is staying lit on my 660 grizzly. I was riding it a couple weeks ago and noticed it flashing. I stopped, let it cool off then headed back to the house with the light out. The next time I rode it I noticed it flash a couple of times and immediately go out. The bike can now sit for days and as soon as I start it, it will be lit and stay on. The fan is working and the coolant is full. Any suggestions on the problem, or a way to reset the light? Thanks in advance.

the wire from the high temp sensor may be loose or off, or you may have a bad high temp sending unit. to test the electrical ckt pull off the white with stripe wire and the warning light should be on. ground wire to frame and warning light should go out.
