i have a 1998 honda foreman ES. i have 1,010 miles on it and lately i have noticed that at times when i start it the ES shift isnt working when i go to put it in gear(either forward or reverse), but if i cut the engine off and restart it will work. any ideas as to what the fix is ?

so do you leave in gear, because when i do that on my Rancher it sticks in gear so you have to rock it back and forth to get it to go into nutral!!
