kawasaki prairie 360

The Prairie 360 (362cc) is a little heavy at 604lb. (Prairie 700 is only 602lb with 335cc's more) I don't really like belt drives but it is nice that it comes with a locking diff. Kawasaki should just make the speedo standard at a retail price of $5499. and up the cc's to at least 400cc.

My buddy has a 360 auto and loves it. It isn't as fast as my Eiger but the ride is a lot plusher than mine. He put on a set of 589s and the only time I have to pull him out is if he bellys in mud, the same goes for me with the stock dunlops but I constantly seem to get at least 1 flat. We carry plug kits. We cut some diamond plate aluminum to make skid plates for our rides. He put small pieces behind the front bumper, drilled holes for air flow, and installed a set of lights from Autozone that point outwards a little. They set back in the metal so they are protected. We've installed back lights under the rack (55 watt, $8 a pair - one on each quad.). A set of heated grips are a must. We're looking for jet kits and exhaust but we don't want the noise, people get annoyed and take away our trails.

Buy American, America!
I've had my 360 for about 3 months now and it's been reliable, handles great, awesome ride, and just looks terrific.
The biggest preformance boost I did with mine was installing ITP ATRs all around. It handles just about any terrain I've come across, improved the ground clearance and with the ITP C-Series wheels, it LOOKS like a completely different machine. My Father-in-Law has a Prairie 650, which I also ride. Other then the obvious top end of the 650, you'd be hard pressed to find much difference between the 650 and 360.
