I own a belt trans 04 Prairie. I have experience with zuki's, polaris, and others with belt systems. I'm just letting you know what my experiences have told me.

Dont be immature and start calling me names. It dosent take much courage to call someone out on the internet.

hey look buddy you were the one who called my quad a POS because it was belt drive. You may also want to note that I said if it was a foot shift then I would have kept it.

I just dont like the electric shift button. Thats all I was saying.
And I am not starting up the whole yamaha/Honda fued either. I like both brands.

I went trail riding around my house on the Rancher yesterday and got stuck big time about a mile back in the woods off a pipe line right before dark.I spent about an hour trying to get it out but it wasn't happening. So I had to walk back to my house to call a friend that lives 45 minutes away to come pull it out.It just didn't pull out eather. The front rack was so far down it would plow the ground when pulling.Reverse wasn't an option simce there was this big weet tree root in the way.It sucked we finaly had to dig it out with a shovel and tow it out with another atv.I need new tires.

I didnt like the fact that it had a back up foot shifter. What was Honda saying? this may break so we will give you a back up? That didnt sell me at all.

Honda makes a great machine, but if it was a foot shift I would have kept it.
DONT EVER USE IT AS A FOOT SHIFTER, not its purpose. they give it to you so incase the battery dies you still could get it in gear and get home.

their is no back up shifter on the 350 es, but there is a shifter so a guy can get it into a gear to get it home if there is a electrical problem. this is not a big deal as the electric shifter is a quality piece of gear, its just that someone at honda was thinking ," what if ". you got to hand it to that guy.

I havent noticed no shifter on my Rancher.I have only had it a month though. Were is it located and what does it look like?I havent really looked it over yet.
I know when I was a kid I had a Honda 300 fourtrax that was electric start but also had a backup kick starter. Why don't they do that anymore?
