Hi everyone,
I have a 96' Polaris sportsmen 500. I purchased it last year and have had no problems until about a month ago when the snow started disapearing. It seemed the less snow we had the harder it pulled to the left. It pulls hard when I'm driving and when Its just sitting sometimes so hard I have to use most of my weight to turn the wheels right. If anyone has any Ideas please let me know what they are, Thank You.

Check tire pressure or look at your CV boots, one might have torn. I had a CV boot tear once and it made mine pull to that side. Also you might check the brake pads on the side it is pulling to.

 

Check to see if it's stuck in 4x4 on that side. It could be your hub sticking. Change your hub fluid.

 

thank you for replying. I have checked the tire pressure but need to check the cv boots and 4x4. I was thinking about the brake pads because it seems to pull harder when I pull the brake handle, but would it pull to the left when its stopped and even when its shut off. It seems to let loose when I gun the throttle.
