Noisy clutch on Grizzly
#1
I have an 04 Grizz and the clutch seems noisy. It sounds kind of like a rod knock would except it is coming from the clutch/belt housing. My neighbors 03 makes the same noise so I was wondering if it is normal. The dealer told me the grizzlys were noisy, But I haven't brought it in for them to look at yet, But I will if need be since it is only 1 month old. This is the first 4 wheeler I have actually owne so I am not familiar with the noises they make. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance for any help.

This info isn't any help but my Grizz has 1600 miles on it and the clutch makes no noise at all. My Prairie has 450 miles on it and the clutch makes a lot of noise. The belt on the Grizz is still in speck but it will churp when going down steep hill's with the rear wheel's catching traction on and off.

The noise you are hearing isn't from the Clutch!
It's in the trans. The gears have to much clearance and they chatter against each other! You will notice it when letting off the gass and applying the brake! It's a nasty noise and mine started within a month of owning it!
If you believe that it is actually coming from your clutch then you need to take it in! The Clutch on a grizzly is quite, if you hear anything from it something is WRONG!!
I have 1,500 miles on mine!

My 04 Griz makes the same noise. Usually, the harder rougher terain you are on the more it makes the noise. At first I was worried about it, but it seems to be a normal thing. I'm just glad I bought the extended warenty.
