Default '01 rubicon transmission grinding?

I was out riding the other day with some friends, and my rubicon transmission left go. It started to grind some bad in forward and reverse. In both automatic and standard shift. Not sure what it is, but I have heard this isn't the first one that it happens to. Would appreciate a reply if anybody knows what causes this and what is the fix.

I had mine grind and pop out of gear. Took it back to dealer cause it was only a couple of days old and had the linkage adjusted. After that no problem. Other things like oil pressure can effect it. Make sure oil level is right cause the tranny needs to run at 2200 PSI.
