Default GBC Gators vs. Mudhogs

anyone with any experiance with these 2 tires would be helpful. Cant decide on which one is better. I ride in sand, mud, snow. and dirt. Also My stock tires are 25x9x12 and 25x11x12, they sell these in 28x10x12 and 28x12x12 will these tires fit on my stock rims, or will I have to purcase different rims? I own a 2004 grizzly 660
(food for thought, stay away from Nebraska tire, they sell junk)

They will fit on your rims, but you'll need a bead-breaker or someway to get the old ones off. I haven't seen anyone on here that uses Mudhogs, but the tread reminds me of Goodyear Mudrunners somewhat and these are awesome tires. Gators, however, seem to be a very praised tire too. If you want proven technology, I'd say Gators. If you wanna take a chance in which I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed, try the Mudhogs and be one of the first I've seen to give a report on their performance.

I had Mudhogs on my 2003 Grizz before I lost it in a shed fire. They were 27"s and they were an extremely impressive tire! They had a little rough ride to them but I think all big aggressive tires do!I rode with others who have 589's and I would have to say they were just as good if not better in the mud.Good Luck!

I got the GATOR and oh what a hell of a tire. nice ride on smooth surfaces and in the mud.... they just gobble it up and spit it out. GREAT NAME GBC.......GATOR!!!! Went with the 27s and notice very slight loss in wheel spin on my Grizzly 660

I got 25" gators on a sportsman 500 and they are very impressive. Have never run them in the sand but they really rock in the mud and snow. You will feel the lugs hit the ground, at slow speeds especially, but they are not going to cause you teeth to shake loose.
