Let this die already. Nothing new can be said that hasn't been said already.

am I mistaken or do most of the "utes" have speed limiters. My 700 sportsman tops at 64 and it is not the end of the engoines useful power.

Well I don't know about a lot of you but i have a utility quad. A "2002 Kodiak s.e. 400" to be exact, and with a few mods that I have done to it I am quite sure that it will keep up to you in the flats and be far pass you in the trails and rocks. As far as the hills go I haven't seen one yet that it won't climb...

They dont have power, when i see them at glamis they shouldnt even belong there, and they cant make it up the hill. I know they are for rock climbing and stuff, but i mean come on, why would you want to go ride a quad on rocks instead of going 85 miles an hour on a dry lake bed or race somebody up the hill to see who is the king of the hill? I mean come on.
i'll take you on any day with my 800, you take your pansy paddles off and put your stocks back on and i'll wait for you at the top of the hill.

Good point Spyder.....I rode about a month ago with a guy with a Honda 450R, he started doing donuts, he looked surprised when I starting doing them on my 700 EFI....then we rode the arroya, I dumped mud all over him, then on the hard pack dirt road on the way back, he was hauling a$$ to get back to the truck, when I went sliding by him on the corner with my 27" Mud Lites, he looking alittle surprised...lol...

all things aside, each has their own purpose, but Utility machines can do much more...

why bother posting something like that, everyone has their opinion and thats cool, but theres no sence putting done a machine you dont like or own,hey you dont like em dont own one.Its as
simple as that...I too was a pure sport machine man for years and years! Then said Im gettin to old
so decided to get the utility and have some slower fun Id like to have both..but after owning
a utility type I couldnt be happier to be able to go places I never could before with my sport machine
and be able to play with toys like plows etc. Each to his own

I ride a Banshee and with all the rain we have been getting hear in AZ the dry riverbeds are real wet. I watch these 4 yutes go thru 3' of water. That was so cool. I still would take my Shee over a yute but I stopped at the waters edge and they kept going. That says alot. Oh I normally go around 50 to 60 on that "dry riverbed".
85-mph on a Raptor? Maybe the GPS was on Kilometers.lol. Just Funnin. Dont get all pissy now. I know there kinda fast after they get going.
